Stohlquist Showpigs • National Champion Showpigs & Elite Sires
Stohlquist Showpigs is a Northern Illinois family operation focused on raising elite showpigs and proven boar sires backed by wins at major, national, and state shows across the country.
At Stohlquist Showpigs, everything we do is built around winning – in the ring and in the crate. We’re focused on building competitive, functional hogs that can hang on the biggest stages, from state fairs to the major and national shows.
Our sow base is stacked with proven females that have generated champions and high sellers across the country. We match them to a sire lineup built to add power, presence, and look without giving up structure and durability.
Whether you’re shopping for your next showpig or looking to tap into our boar battery for champion-quality genetics, we’re here to help you build a program that can compete anywhere.

Two extremely popular boars that will make an impact!
Green Light-Unrivaled hit me harder than any other boar I’d seen in a long time. His density, skull shape, hair and build were obvious indicators he was going to generate. Just like unrivaled Green Lights dam possess those same far reaching pieces that it takes to make genetic advancement. Green Light has been utilized by the best breeders in the industry and his babies could not be more impressive! His ability to add bone and hair while not sacrificing build, look or looseness of skeleton makes him an elite sire the industry can take advantage of.
Makin' Hay- He has been an absolute game changer in our program. Never have we seen a boar generate bone like he has. Makin' Hay has had an incredible debut in the jackpot rings across the country! Haymaker the Makin' Hay son we just sold to Upperhand Genetics, is as impressive as you will see and has the ability to be the next great one. The summer has just begun and we are excited to watch the Makin' Hays get their chance. Book early! ...
